4 new features in WhatsApp Channels
Through WhatsApp's 'Channels' facility, different organizations or stars have the opportunity to easily provide updated information to followers. Followers can not comment on any post on the WhatsApp channel, but they can react. And so many people regularly follow the WhatsApp channels of different people or organizations. Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of WhatsApp's parent company Meta, has announced the launch of new features including 'voice updates' on WhatsApp's channels.
It is known that the 'Voice Update' feature basically works like a voice message. And so by using this facility, the administrators of the channel can easily post updated information in the mouth. As a result, the channel's followers can be updated by sending voice messages without writing large posts.
In addition to voice updates, the channel has added the facility of taking polls or voting to know the views of followers. Followers can't comment on the channel's posts, just react. Followers will be able to express their opinions on specific topics through the poll facility. In addition to the poll facility, followers will be able to post any information on a specific channel to the status option of their personal WhatsApp account.
In addition to these new features, the number of administrators in WhatsApp channels has also increased. With the introduction of this new facility, a maximum of 16 administrators can be associated with a channel. As a result, updated information can be provided as well as channel control easier than the present.
