Live TV can be watched on mobile without internet connection
Watching TV through an internet connection on mobile is now a common thing. However, this time live TV can be seen on mobile without internet through the 'Direct to Home' (DTH) technology like the 'Direct to Home' (DTH) line.
Watching TV on mobile has become commonplace now, but to watch live TV on mobile, internet service is usually required. However, a technology is emerging in India that will allow watching television channels on mobile without any internet connection, somewhat similar to how we can listen to FM radio channels on mobiles. This technology has been confirmed by the country's telecommunications and information and communication technology department.
However, mobile operators have expressed dissatisfaction with this development because it may reduce the use of mobile data, impacting their revenue.
India's IIT Kanpur and Prasar Bharati jointly announced that this service is quite similar to FM radio. Just like FM radio service is available for free, the same way Direct-to-Mobile (DTM) service can be availed. All that will be required is to tune in to the necessary channel's frequency on mobile. Currently, frequencies from 526 to 582 megahertz have been allocated for this purpose.
